It is IED's policy to respect and protect the privacy of our customers and the users of the IED Site. Through this Privacy Policy, we want to reassure users of the Site that we will not sell, share, or rent user information to others in a manner different than as set forth in this Privacy Policy.

What information we collect from you. IED only collects Personal Information that you voluntarily provide to us.

How we use your information. IED uses your Personal Information for the purposes of responding to and processing your requests for IED products and services or a participating vendor (s) products and services.

Becomes a IED member or expert, completes a member or expert profile, posts an event or posts an article, requests IED to forward information to a participating vendor or expert, places an order, participates in an online sweepstakes or survey, submits an email or contacts IED, or  voluntarily provides information to a IED representative.

In order to fulfill the requests of Site users in the above instances, the user may be requested to provide contact and/or credit information. If we have trouble processing an order or a request, this contact information will be used by IED to contact the user.

Use of your information. Information collected by IED may be used, but not limited to

Register you as a IED member or expert. At your request, set up an account at a participating vendor. At your request, provide contact details to a participating vendor or expert. Purchase products or services. Send marketing communications or surveys to you. Respond to your suggestions or inquiries. Improve the quality of your visit to the IED site.

Gathering and Sharing of Information, Links to External and Co-branded Websites.

We monitor traffic patterns on the Site and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use to analyze trends and administer the Site in order to improve its layout and design and to permit Site personalization and streamlining to create the best experience we can for our users. In order to perform analysis permitting such personalization and improvement of site design and user experience, we may employ suitable third parties with whom we share the information necessary to accomplish these objectives. These statistics include no personally identifying information.

Where appropriate, we share aggregated statistical information with our business partners. These statistics include no personally identifying information.

We use a credit card processing company to bill purchasers of goods and services from the Site, and depending upon the goods and services being ordered, we may also use outside suppliers and/or delivery companies to assist us in fulfilling and delivering orders. We share with them the information necessary to enable such card processing, fulfillment, and delivery of goods (i.e. - name, address, and as appropriate, payment information).

We will not share personal user information with any participating vendors unless requested by the user. Participating vendors can only contact users directly when a user requests information from a vendor, becomes a customer of the vendor or otherwise invites the vendor to contact the user directly. Vendors can only promote there offerings through the IED newsletters or marketing initiatives through IED.

We may provide personal identifying and account information in special cases such as enforcement of our Terms of Site Use, or as required by law or legal process to protect and defend the rights and safety of our Site and its users. This includes exchanging information with other companies for purposes of fraud and credit risk reduction.

Our Site also contains links to external Internet sites as well as co-branded sites, which may be operated by an external party and they may have privacy practices that differ from those here at IED. A co-branded site is a Website, usually operated by a third-party, and displaying that third-party's name along with the IED name and logo. Such co-branded sites offer IED approved goods or services to our users. When you click on links that take you to such external or co-branded sites, you will be subject to their privacy policies, and we encourage you to become familiar with that party's privacy policies as these may differ from those utilized on our Site. Surveys & Contests
From time-to-time we may request information from the users of the Site via surveys or contests. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary, and the users of the Site have a choice whether or not to disclose this information. Information requested may include contact information (such as your name and shipping address), and demographic information (such as postal code, age level, etc.). We use such information to notify contest winners, award prizes, and for analyzing the Site traffic to improve the user's experience on the Site.

IED Newsletter
The IED E-mail newsletter provides regular updates to members about articles and offerings that we feel are valuable to operating a business. You may unsubscribe at any time by using the link provided on every newsletter.

Strong precautions are taken to protect the information of the users of our Site. When users submit sensitive information via the Site, that Information is protected both online and off-line.

You may have heard of the term "cookies". Cookies are routinely used by most, if not all, E- commerce merchants, including IED. Services
Generally. Purchasing a IED membership entitles you (a "Member") to all the tools, resources, member offers and/or discounts available on the site regardless of your use of them.

Your IED membership is not transferable from one business to another.

Payment Terms
For access to and use of a IED membership, you agree to pay all fees and charges specified in the IED membership fee schedule. IED asks that you provide us with your credit card information for payment, and all charges you incur for use of the IED Service will be charged to the credit card number you provide. If IED does not receive payment from the card issuer, you agree to pay IED all amounts due upon demand. IED may take commercially reasonable actions to validate your credit card and collect all payments due. You agree to pay all attorney and collection fees arising from any efforts to collect any past due amounts from you to the extent allowed by law. You understand that if IED does not receive timely payment of all amounts due for membership fees, your use of any IED Service may be severely restricted or terminated at IED's sole discretion.

THE FEE FOR ANY IED SERVICE OTHER THAN MEMBERSHIPS ARE NONREFUNDABLE. IED WILL NOT REFUND ANY FEES PAID BY YOU IF YOU TERMINATE YOUR AGREEMENT WITH US.

If you terminate your membership, any membership fees paid will be refunded to the member on a prorated basis based on the unused number of prepaid days remaining on their membership.

IED reserves the right at its sole discretion and as it deems appropriate to add or remove certain services it offers and change its fees for any services or memberships.

You agree to notify IED immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of the IED Service, your credit card, or your password. Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, your credit card provider cannot hold you liable for more than $50 of fraudulent charges. In the event of an unauthorized use of your credit card, you must notify your credit card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.

You agree to pay any taxes, including personal property taxes or sales taxes (GST for Canadian Customers), resulting from your use of the IED Services. You agree to pay all attorney and collection fees arising from our efforts to collect any past due amounts from you to the extent allowed by law.

User Registration Obligations
Provide and promptly update your User Identification to keep it true, accurate, current and complete. If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, or if we have reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, we have the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse all current or future use of Our Site. In addition, we may reject any Site Member registration submission for any reason, or no reason, at our sole discretion. If we terminate your membership, any membership fees paid will be refunded to the member on a prorated basis based on the unused number of days remaining on their membership.
