We offer a number of options to promote your organization and most are free with your group registration.


The IED Group Directory is searched by members, visitors, experts and by all major search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing. Your listing provides a great opportunity to promote your organization and attract new members. The International Expert Directory is very search engine friendly. That means in addition to attracting new members directly from the IED website, you may also see an increase of traffic from search engines.

Please take the time to include information, images and media (video) that will entice visitors to your profile to learn more about your organization. If your organization has a promotional video, we recommend that you include in the bottom section of your profile. You may modify your listing at any time from your profile.

Some organizations like promote their members by including their members in their group profile. This is especially true for networking groups however this option is available to all organizations. It is a great way to increase the value your organization brings to your members. Here is a business networking group as an example of a profile that lists its members.

Please note: Your group profile is to promote your organization and your organizations events. Should one of your members wish to promote their own events, articles, etc, they must complete their own expert registration. Note: A Basic Expert Registration is FREE to your members.

You may also promote your organizations events, bonuses, discounts, articles and videos provided they fit within IED categories and meet our criteria. All events, bonuses, discounts and articles that you post are included in the tabs of your Group Directory Listing. They are also included in the main searches (i.e. Searches for Events, Articles, etc.).

Post your events in the IED events calendar. This may include educational seminars, workshops, webinars, teleconferences, pod casts, etc. You may also post networking events that are open to non-members. Post events here.

This is an additional opportunity to attract new members to your organization by offering a discount to IED members, experts and visitors. This could be a discount to join your organization, attend one of your events at your member price or purchase a product. This is optional, therefore do not feel obligated to post a discount. Bonuses are similar to discounts, however bonuses must be 100% free with no other purchase necessary. This could be a free report, your newsletter, an assessment, audio, video, e-book, advertising or an invite to an event. Post your bonus here.

Content must be educational in nature. If suitable, we will publish in various categories. This is excellent publicity and will increase your organizations profile. All content you submit is credited to your organization with a link to your listing or your website (great for SEO). Post your content here.

PDF's can be uploaded however they cannot be optimized for search engines. If you can cut and paste your content into the IED article form you will get much better results. An alternative is to include a short overview in the article form and include a link to the PDF.

Videos must be educational in nature. We accept a wide variety of video formats such as flash or YouTube videos. Post your videos here.

You may also post a video (educational or promotional) in the bottom section of your profile.

Do you have an opinion on something, have a tip or resource to share, found a tool or link that you think may be of interest to members or other experts? Commenting on other posts is also beneficial to increasing the visibility of your organization. To submit a blog post click here.

Simply add the IED logo or banner to your website or marketing collateral with a brief message about IED and the benefits to your members. See a few examples below.

When your members click on the link or the title they will be directed to a landing page with the discount details. You may copy the logo and text from above or place the following code on your website to link (reference) the logo or banner. We also give you an option to have a branded landing page like this example with your organization logo and unique promotional codes. If your organization will actively promote IED to your members, we will reward you for those efforts. Rewards may include an ongoing revenue stream based on your members purchases and ongoing posting and promotion of your events by IED staff in our events section.
