What is the difference between Members, Experts and Groups?

• Members are looking for information and resources from experts. They seek knowledge in the form of articles, videos, events and other resources to help them save time, save money, grow their business and achieve personal success. Members also search the Expert Directory when they are looking for expert assistance.
• Experts have knowledge, experience and resources they would like to share with members and other experts. Experts realize that by sharing their knowledge through events, articles and videos they will increase their visibility and attract new customers.
• Groups are membership organizations like chambers of commerce, associations and networking organizations.These "Groups" are seeking to gain visibility for their member organization and attract new members and attendees to their events.

Can I post my event without registering in the Expert Directory?

To post an event, article or video, you must create a profile for your company. A Basic Profile is FREE. There are also options to upgrade your profile. See the Expert Registration under the registration tab.


Is there a cost to include my Association, Chamber or Member Organization in the Group Directory and what are the benefits to my organization?

There is no cost to include your organization in the Group Directory. The benefits are many including discounts to your members and higher visibility for your organization. For details see the Group Registration under the registration tab.


I posted an article, event or video and I cannot find it on the website. What should I do?

Find your profile in the Expert or Group directory and look at the various tabs in your profile. All content that you post will be associated with your profile (except videos, we are working on that). Content in your profile is also searchable and viewable in the various directories (Events, Article, Videos, etc.).

All All articles, events and videos are reviewed by IED before they are published. Generally this process is completed in less than 1 business day however can take as much as 2 business days during peak periods. Please note that not all content is approved. Content that is too promotional or does not meet our guidlines will be declined.
