Article Guidelines, Terms and Conditions for submitting content to the International Expert Directory


Definitions:

Article or articles refer to any type of resource, video, podcast, multimedia, article, tip, content are collectively referred to as article (s).

You, your, author, company and owner refer to the owner of the article (s)

I, we, our, ours, IED or the International Expert Directory refer to the International Expert Directory.

Publisher (s) refer to other webmasters, ezines and print publications.
 

By Submitting an article (s) or other resources to IED you agree to the following terms and conditions;

  1. You declare that you are the sole owner and author of the article (s) and own 100% of all copyrights pertaining to it. If the article (s) were co-authored, all co-authors must be given proper credit.
  2. If you hired someone else to write the content, you must own the exclusive license that permits only your name to be associated with the content submitted. If you are submitting on behalf of an author (an employee or contractor for the author) please submit the article as if it was from the author (name, credits etc).
  3. You are representing and warranting that it does not infringe any rights, including but not limited to copyright, trademark or rights of confidentiality, of any other person, and you agree to indemnify and hold IED harmless for any such infringement.
  4. The article is not Private Label Rights (PLR) content.
  5. The Author will retain copyright for all original articles submitted to IED.  Whenever the author’s content is displayed, the proper crediting information provided by the author will also be displayed to ensure the author receives the full benefit from the use of their content.
  6. Your submission also gives IED unconditional permission to publish your articles on the IED website, Ezines, newsletters, International Expert Report, RSS feeds, member email alerts and other communication methods designed to increase the marketing of your article.
  7. As the main reason to submit content to IED is to increase market circulation, we may also publish or republish articles in other ezines, websites and print publications.
  8. You are granting full permission to anyone who wants to use your article. This may include other webmasters, print magazines, online magazines (ezines) and IED. Should you wish to restrict usage please include a short restrictions line in your author credit information.
  9. You acknowledge that IED makes no guarantee that your article will be published by others.
  10. We ask publisher(s) to follow our reprint and republishing rules, but you acknowledge that the enforcement of our terms of service for publishers is at your risk and cost and not ours. In other words, if someone violates your copyright -- it will be 100% up to you to take legal action against those who abuse your copyright to protect your interests. If you do not agree to these terms, do not submit your articles.
  11. You understand that publishers who post your articles found on IED may post a hyperlink pointing to both the author's website (if provided in the author bio) and IED as the article source.
  12. All articles are reviewed by IED before articles are published. It is at IED's sole decision as to whether your article is published and for how long. There are no guarantees made that your article(s) will be published. We reserve the right to remove your article(s) at any time for any reason.
  13. IED reserves the right to re-classify your article in a category or categories that may be more suitable than originally submitted.
  14. IED may also modify article title or sub titles if another article has similar titles or to improve your search results.
  15. IED reserves the right to publish ads on the same pages as your articles.
  16. The Author may request that one or more of their articles be removed from the IED web site. IED will not remove articles from previously published compilations that are part of an archive (e.g. an archived newsletter), however we will examine any reasonable request.
  17. The Author understands that if it is discovered that any articles are questionable in regards to the author’s ownership, all submissions received by the author will be immediately removed.
  18. IED will not be held responsible for lawsuits or criminal charges related to the author's articles. The Author agrees to bear the burden of any legal costs or damages incurred by IED in the event of legal proceedings involving the author and specifically related to the Author's works.
  19. IED makes no warranty with regard to quality of service or future availability of IED services, and reserves the right to change or discontinue publication and services at any time.
  20. IED reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.

IED does not accept any responsibility or legal liability resulting from the use or misuse of the information presented in the articles on IED.
