- don’t panic

- burden of proof is on you.
- dress normally
- be on time
- be nice to the auditor
- bring organized information
- don’t volunteer info
- don’t dangle ends
- ask for tax law references
- don’t give in
- never be alone with a fraud investigator
- don’t tamper with the evidence
- never ever die and not get a clearance certificate
- beware of the “Rats” (CRA has top hot-line for those who want revenge)
