It is free, however only Experts with a Lite or Pro Listing can participate.

Members can contact you directly from your listing in the Expert Directory, however participating in the “Ask an Expert” Program will provide members an extra incentive to contact you.

This program is a little different than other Ask an Expert Programs. While you can suggest that members email you questions, we recommend that you offer a free 15 minute Q & A session by phone.

Why only 15 minutes?

• A 60 minute session may scare off potential prospects. 60 minutes is too long. Members want answers to their questions and do not want to be sold. 15 minutes is short enough that members (your prospects) feel they have time to get their questions answered with little time for the sales pitch.
  
  
• By putting a specific time limit (rather than open ended) on your call, a member is going to be more comfortable and more inclined to participate.

Of course, after 15 minutes if the member is intrigued and wants to continue the conversation or take the next step, that is up to you.

Your posting for the Ask an Expert program should be intriguing and as specific as possible. E.g. Posting “Call me if you have any sales or marketing questions” is too broad. Where “Contact me if you have questions on Search Engine Optimization or Email Marketing” will get you better qualified prospects and more inquiries.

You may add more than one Ask an Expert posting however each posting must be submitted separately.

Members and other experts can search the Ask an Expert postings by categoryand be virtual or location specific. Members can also view and access your Ask an Expert posting directly from your listing in the Expert Directory.

All Ask an Expert postings are reviewed by IED before the postings are viewable on the site. The International Expert Directory reserves the right to decline postings that we deem inappropriate for any reason.
